The 2012 Democratic and Republican Runoffs are not until July 31, but at least one thing is certain: there will be winners and losers.
If any of the candidates you are supporting don't make it past their primary or runoff, don't just toss their yard signs into the trash! The Environmental Service Center at 11500 S. Post Oak Lane will accept them for recycling -- at no additional charge to City of Houston residents.
The city would rather that yard signs be taken to the ESC instead of placed in the green recycling bins or thrown in the trash, because the city is recovering them separately from the regular recycling stream.
